Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a very serious problem in which one actually stops breathing at random episodes during the night. Sleep apnea leaves one feeling unrested after a full night of sleep but also puts an individual at risk for much more serious health concerns. If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea or feel you may suffer from it, then we may be able to help by making you an oral sleep appliance.

An occlusal appliance, mouthguard, may be needed if your teeth show signs of abnormal wear, grinding, clenching, bruxism,  or if you suffer from TMJ pain. The appliances are generally worn when you sleep. They help to support the jaw joint and muscles and to prevent tooth wear.
